KMK Media Group signs incorporation papers
November 18, 1998

Press release announces former Milwaukee (and Rockford) TV reporter opens business with Machesney Park native and Audio-Visual specialist.
June 16, 1999

KMK hosts a Rockford Chamber ribbon-cutting and open house at its first office in the iconic “Top of the Rock” building. The 400 square foot office space looks out on Alpine Road and Colonial Village Mall.
October 6, 2000

KMK’s owners begin teaching continuing education course at Rock Valley College entitled “Marketing Solutions for a Successful Website.” Ah…the good ‘ole days of Flash—not!
February 13, 2001

KMK volunteered many hours toward strategic planning for RPS 205. KMK finished branding work for RPS 205 High School Academies, forever changing the way students are educated in the district.
March 12, 2001

KMK’s Pam Maher is featured as a “Top Woman Executive” in InBusiness Magazine. Remember that publication??

KMK wins Rockford Chamber “Small Business of the Year” Award!
May 24, 2001

KMK is hired to install webcam to monitor and stream live video of the construction of the Winnebago County Justice Center.
July 25, 2005

KMK moves its time-tracking into the 21st century by using a time-tracking online software, realizing the employee and client growth has exceeded “old fashioned” hand-written time logs!
September 22, 2005

KMK sends out the first eblast of its own to 257 clients, vendors and friends that discussed the value of corporate videos and the launch of a new KMK-produced website for the Rockford Coronado Concert Association.

KMK’s CEO Pam Maher puts her kids to work early, utilizing 4-year-old Caitlin in a billboard for Physicians Immediate Care. Pam’s kids have also made cameos in TV commercials.
January 6, 2009

Pam becomes president of Rockford Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the 2nd woman and the youngest board chairman in the Chamber’s 100+ history.
January 20, 2009

KMK’s Pam Maher chairs the United Way of Rock River Valley’s annual fundraising campaign, working with a dedicated group of volunteers to raise nearly $5 million dollars.
May 15, 2011

KMK’s owners are flattered by a purchase offer from a large, long-standing Rockford company but decline, knowing they enjoy what they’ve built over the past 12 years, leading a team of talented professionals in doing great work for clients.
August 3, 2011

Merry Christmas to KMK as they become the new owners of a 4100-square-foot beautiful 2-story historic building on Church Street in downtown Rockford. The KMK team gets cozy for 6 weeks in a back conference room while the rest of the 100-year-old building is renovated.
