hard rock rockford casino
KMK rocked alongside the iconic casino brand since Hard Rock first made the decision to call Rockford home in 2019. We planned and promoted everything from the first announcement to the downtown office location to the official groundbreaking and opening of the casinos. We’ve cemented the Hard Rock brand into Rockford’s roots by publicizing the casino and its progress, creating promotional videos and eblast campaigns, generating PR, and designing signs and schematics for replica guitars!
branding/logo design
The Hard Rock logo has remained unchanged for decades, but KMK was thrilled to get the chance to update the Rockford logo for Pride month!
event planning
Hard Rock Rockford trusts KMK Media Group to deliver rock star events including the announcement of its decision to come to Rockford, opening of its downtown office, opening of its temporary casino, and the exciting groundbreaking for the permanent casino. These multi-faceted events require a complex mix of needs including tent, stage, lights, cameras, catering, music, logistics, local and state leaders, catering, invitations and media exposure.
graphic design
We thought we’d done it all, but KMK’s partnership with Hard Rock Rockford has led to many firsts for our decades-old company, like designing a replica of Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen’s iconic Hamer guitar. This instrument, however, is not for playing; it's for holding. It's a foam core with a dry erase surface--the perfect prop for pictures of the casino's big winners before they cash in! Play on!
public relations
KMK provides the PR link between Hard Rock Rockford and the media, expertly handling media inquiries, pitching stories and making sure it’s a win-win for both. The culmination? Planning and promoting the groundbreaking ceremony for the permanent casino. KMK delivered with a rock star event and local and national media coverage reaching 6.8 million people.
tv/video production
Hard Rock Casino Rockford hired KMK Media to plan and promote the grand opening of its "Opening Act" location at the corner of East State Street and Bell School Road in Rockford. KMK handled event planning, public relations and video production including a virtual guest appearance by Rockford rocker Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick and a promo reel highlighting the exciting new gaming venue.
